Your Computer Accounts
Computing accounts are issued to all students and employees at Iona College. These accounts allow access to the college's network, PeopleSoft, Blackboard and email systems. For security reasons, passwords expire every 90 days.

A computer id and password is created for students at the time of their first registration and is maintained for all currently registered students. Computer accounts expire approximately 30 days after the end of the last term for which they are registered.
All student accounts follow the naming convention of first initial of first name + full last name + a number (ex: jdoe1). This user id is the beginning part of your official Iona email address and the user name needed to login to the various Iona systems.
A computer id and password is automatically created for all employees after they are officially hired by Human Resources. This account is deleted upon separation from the College.
All incoming Iona community members receive a letter informing them of their user ID and the default password.
Freshmen, Transfer and Graduate Students receive their account information letter in the mail.
Employees pick up their letter from the Help Desk.
PeopleSoft is software used at Iona College to manage student and employee information. Students use PeopleSoft to register for classes, view their class schedule, accept financial aid and view their grades. Faculty use it to view class rosters, record attendance and submit final grades.
For security reasons, this password will expire every 90 days.
Students and Employees have access to email as part of Office 365. Computer Passwords are their passwords for Office 365.
