ChemDoodle 3D

System Requirements

Windows Vista/7/8/10+, macOS 10.11+ (El Capitan, Sierra, High Sierra, Mojave, Catalina or more recent), or Linux.
A 64 bit system is required (all modern systems are 64 bit).
ChemDoodle 3D requires OpenGL v2 drivers.
A minimum of 1GB of memory.

Go to www.iona.edu/workorder.
Sign in using your Iona University computer id and password.
On the left-hand side of the screen click on Downloads.
Select the MAC version of ChemDoodle 3D.
Click on Download.
Save File.
Click the newly downloaded program to run it. A window will appear asking you to move the ChemDoodle3D folder to Applications. Do this by opening Applications (Go  Applications) and dragging the ChemDoodle3D folder from the window into Applications.
Double click the ChemDoodle3D folder in Applications to open the folder. Then double click the ChemDoodle3D application file to run it and press “Open” when prompted to open the app.
A license agreement will appear. Press “Accept.”
The program will then ask you to activate your license. Click the “retrieve it here” link to obtain your site license code.
You will be redirected to a website, where you should input your Iona email address and press “Get License Codes.” You will see a confirmation on the screen saying the code has been mailed to your Iona email address.
Check your Iona email to retrieve the Site license code. Copy and paste the code into the 4 boxes provided in the ChemDoodle3D activation window. Then press “Verify.”
Once ChemDoodle3D has finished activation, press “Open ChemDoodle 3D” to launch the program.

Go to www.iona.edu/workorder.
Sign in using your Iona University computer id and password.
On the left-hand side of the screen click on Downloads.
Select the Windows version of ChemDoodle 3D.
Click on Download.
Save File.
Display Downloads or go to your download’s directory.
Click on the .exe file.
If prompted to allow this app to make changes, click on yes.
Follow the steps in the installation window to complete setup: press “Next” and then “Install.”
Wait until the program finishes installing. When it prompts you to open ChemDoodle3D now, press “Yes.”
A license agreement will appear. Press “Accept.”
