Occupational Therapy (MS Degree) Tuition, Fees & Total Cost of Attendance

The Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) requires that all accredited programs publish current tuition and fees, as well as the total cost of attending and completing the occupational therapy program. The figures below reflect the full cost of the Iona University Master of Science in Occupational Therapy (MSOT) program (80 credits / 7 semesters, 22.5 months of coursework over 27 months).

Scholarships and Awards for Graduate Students

At Iona, we offer a number of scholarship and award opportunities for our graduate students. This includes our Graduate Assistantships program which can provide eligible students with work experience while reducing tuition costs.

We also encourage students to use our graduate tuition estimator to get an idea of what the cost per credit will be after scholarships and awards have been applied.

Tuition rate increases: Tuition and fees are subject to change. Year 1 rates reflect 2026–27 figures as approved by Iona University. Years 2 and 3 are projected using an estimated 3% annual increase effective each Fall semester; actual rates for future academic years are not guaranteed and will be confirmed upon university approval.

*Licensure costs: Iona University adds $809 to the non-tuition Cost of Attendance budget in the final award year to cover professional licensure costs (NBCOT exam fee $540 + NY State initial licensure $294 + incidental fees). This may be considered when determining federal financial aid eligibility. Students licensing in states other than New York should confirm their state’s fee with the Office of Student Financial Services. Rate is subject to change per New York State approval.

Cost of Attendance (COA) definition: Consistent with FAFSA / Federal Student Aid guidelines, the total cost of attending this program includes tuition and fees, books and supplies, transportation, loan fees, and distance education fees where applicable.
