Information and Updates for the Iona Community on Coronavirus

Campus Safety

The Iona College community has always been characterized by its consistent concern for the welfare of our students, faculty, staff and friends who contribute so much to campus life. The first step to bringing peace and safety to the wider world begins here at home.

Whether you need to obtain an Iona ID or parking pass, report an incident on campus or need other assistance, our trained officers are here to help!

Campus Safety is a 24/7 operation staffed with New York State-licensed security officers who are all employees of Iona College. Officers monitor and patrol campus, inspecting buildings, enforcing traffic and parking regulations, documenting incidents, offering event security and more.

Emergencies: 911
24-Hour Iona Campus Safety: (914) 633-2560
New Rochelle Police Department (non-emergencies): (914) 654-2300

Our campus features 14 strategically placed emergency "blue alert" phones which provide two-way communication with our 24-hour staffed security annex. These phones are illuminated and will emit a flashing light when activated. Each phone has a tracking devise to alert the security team to your location so we can dispatch help to you.
