All full-time employees are eligible to enroll in the Iona University Group Life Insurance plan the first of the month after their date of hire.
An employee is covered for twice (2x) his/her annual salary rounded up to the nearest thousand. This benefit includes Accidental Death and Dismemberment insurance. The College pays for 75% of the monthly insurance cost and the employee pays 25% of the cost.
Prudential Group Life Insurance
The College reserves the right to change the employee contribution, to modify or amend the plan design and to terminate the group plan.
Supplemental Life Insurance
Full-time employees are also eligible to apply for Supplemental Life Insurance through Iona University. Please note, supplemental insurance may be purchased in increments of $10,000 up to five (5) times your annual earnings or $500,000. Evidence of insurability may be required.
