Move the world by letting the world move you.

The Iona College Office of Mission and Ministry is dedicated to keeping the mission of service, justice and spirituality conscious in the minds and hearts of the college community. We are inspired by the Catholic tradition and the charism of Blessed Edmund Rice as we seek to build a caring community of faith and compassion. Read more about our Mission.

The Office of Mission and Ministry provides students and the community at large with many opportunities for:

Prayer Service

During this covid-19 pandemic, the Office of Mission and Ministry will provide a Prayer Service and Reflection weekly.

The readings are based on the Sunday Lectionary of the Catholic liturgy.

The reflections are offered by the college Chaplain and other members of the OMM staff.

Student Success

When Jessica Scaparro transferred to Iona, she was hoping for a chance to serve others and to grow her faith. She got her chance on a trip to Zambia with Iona in Mission. A student in the five-year BA/MA psychology program, Jessica is grateful for the opportunities she’s had at Iona to make a difference in the lives of others.
