Residential Life Student Employment

If you are looking for a leadership position on campus, we offer leadership and employment opportunities to undergraduate students through our resident assistant, front desk and mail room attendants, and office assistant positions.

Interested in becoming a Resident Assistant at Iona College? The application process for the 2021-2022 academic year will begin in February 2021.

Requirements:

  • Current full-time undergraduate student
  • Will have sophomore, junior, or senior status for 2021-2022 academic year.
  • Minimum 2.75 cumulative GPA
  • In good judicial standing

Act as a liaison between the students, visitors/ guests, and staff. Take the opportunity to meet new people, gain work experience, and develop leadership skills.

Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Ensuring the safety and security of all students in the residence halls;
  • Sorting and distributing mail and packages for our residential community;
  • Providing high quality customer service to students and guests.

Act as a liaison between the students, visitors/ guests, and staff. Office assistants provide high-quality customer service to all residents, parents, and all other customers, as well as support to the Office of Residential Life.

Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Clerical responsibilities
  • Assisting with projects
  • Other duties as assigned
