Maintenance Requests

Here at Iona, we work to ensure that your home is both safe and welcoming! One of the many ways that we accomplish this is through our system for handling maintenance requests for our residential students. Once you submit a maintenance request, you will get a notice that your request was received. The Office of Residential Life will also get a notice that you have placed a request so that they can see the details of what you are asking to have done.

Maintenance requests are typically completed within 1-3 business days, depending on the severity of the issue and amount of un-addressed requests. If you do not see a response to the requested work within three business days, please contact your RHD for follow-up.

Please use the Maintenance Request Form to submit all of your non-emergency maintenance requests.

Important: If you have an EMERGENCY request, please call the 24/7 Campus Safety line at (914) 633-2560.

Requesting service authorizes members of the Residential Life, Campus Safety, and Facilities Management departments and/or contractors to enter your housing assignment. Refusing them admittance will result in loss of your priority in the repair schedule and may cause delay in your repair. Because Facilities Management staff lock all doors when leaving after a repair is completed, please be sure to carry your keys/cards to avoid being locked out.
