T. Moretti called the meeting to order at 3:38pm.  Quorum was met.

Approval of Minutes

Minutes for the 4/2 meeting of the Faculty Senate were approved via e-mail on 4/14

Announcements

None

Information Item: Retirements

• The Senate honored two long-standing members of the faculty, and long-serving members of the Senate, Bob Jantzen and Meryl Nadel.  Memories and thanks were shared, and a toast raised to a happy and healthy future.

Action Item: Faculty Senate Chair

• T. Moretti was re-elected Chair in a unanimous vote
• Item closed

Action Item: Executive Committee

• The following senators were unanimously chosen to serve as members of the Senate Executive Committee, and to represent the faculty on the College Council: D. Brophy, A. Howerton-Fox, M. Hughes, E. Mariola, H. Park, A. Rosenfeld.  T. Moretti and D. DeFino serve by default, as Chair and Secretary of the Council.

There being no other business, T. Moretti adjourned the Faculty Senate meeting at 4:28pm. The schedule of Senate meetings for the 2020-21 academic year is forthcoming.
