Abi Hammond teaches Health and Wellness courses, including exercise science courses. She is a former professional ballet dancer whose background in elite performance informs her work in strength and conditioning, rehabilitation, and athlete development. She owns two strength and conditioning facilities, where she creates individualized training programs for clients ranging from professional athletes and competitive teams to the general population. Abi also creates evidence-based return-to-play programs for post-operative athletes and designs comprehensive lifestyle, nutrition and supplement strategies that support recovery and optimize performance. She integrates evidence-based training principles with a deep understanding of biomechanical efficiency. Through her facilities, she provides mentorship oversight for physical therapy and occupational therapy students, contributing to the integration of academic training with applied clinical practice.
