I joined the Iona Faculty in July 2024, after relocating from the Boston area. I have taught Nursing Care of Adults II to students in the Accelerated and Traditional Programs; Nursing Clinical Judgment to Traditional Seniors; Health Assessment to Juniors; Healthcare Perspectives to both Accelerated and Traditional Students, including the Ireland Study Abroad Program; and Introduction to Professional Nursing to Freshmen.

I have been a nurse for more than 35 years - having spent the first part of my career in the U.S. Navy - at duty stations throughout the US, as well as Australia; Okinawa, Japan; and the Hospital Ship - USNS Mercy.

When I transitioned to the civilian sector, I maintained my focus on Critical Care clinical practice and education as a Critical Care Clinical Nurse Specialist. I have also served as Faculty, Associate Dean and Dean of Academic Affairs at Colleges of Nursing in the Northeast, Midwest, and Southwest.
