Dr. Nirshberg teaches courses in philosophy of psychology and neuroscience, general philosophy of science and moral theory. He hopes to add a course on critical thinking and social media soon. His research interests are primarily in philosophy of mind and cognitive science, where he focuses on the tension between representational and embodied accounts of cognition, especially as applied to perception and memory.
