Kaylene Quinones, LMSW

Professor Quinones '09 (BS Social Work) joined the Iona Social Work Faculty as a Clinical Lecturer & Director of MSSW Practicum Education in fall 2025. She comes to this position with a wealth of social work experience and deep knowledge of the service systems in Westchester County. Professor Quinones has taught across the social work education continuum from undergraduate to graduate in courses from Introduction to Social Work to policy, human rights, and practicum courses at the graduate level. Her practice background includes direct service to youth and families involved in the child welfare and juvenile justice systems; the design and implementation of policy and practice innovations within these systems; as well as social work supervision and program administration. Her enduring passion is to teach and lead the next generation of social workers.
