Dr. Elise Robbins teaches Shakespeare and early modern English literature as well as Humanities seminar courses in the Honors program. Her research focuses on the overlap between maternity, theology, and exegesis in the writings of early modern English women, though she also has research interests in translation and adaptation studies. Some of her work on Shakespearean adaptation is forthcoming in Arden's Shakespeare and Adaptation series.
