A Long Island native currently living in Northern Westchester, Finn earned her Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications and a Master of Arts in Public Relations at Iona. One of the most impactful parts of her academic journey was influenced by the support from the Iona faculty.

“It was wonderful to have a balance of faculty in undergraduate and graduate school that included full-time professors and others who were working in the field and would teach at night,” she said.

Finn especially acknowledged Dr. Jim Eggensperger at Iona for his mentorship and impact on the skills she gained in her master’s program.

Finn also described Iona as the “catalyst” in shaping the trajectory of her career. As a dedicated member of the Women’s Swimming team, Finn served as Team Captain from 1998 – 2000. From her experiences as both a student and an athlete, Finn said that this balance was “an important mix in which I was provided with the tools, guidance, and opportunities I needed to find the motivation within myself to do well academically and pursue my career.”
