We are happy you stopped by to learn more about the programs and services that the ISPS team offers Iona College's international student population. One of our goals is to reduce the stress and anxiety levels of our international students so that they can maximize their time and enjoyment during their Iona College educational experience. We are happy to answer any of your questions.

For Students and Parents: Deciding to study abroad and live in a country which may be far away, and where different customs are practiced, can be both exciting and daunting for the international student and his or her family. The ISPS team at Iona College is committed to making sure our international students feel welcomed and part of the Iona College family and experience. From the moment you start considering Iona College as your educational destination, the ISPS team will be with you every step of the way. You will NEVER have to feel alone, and your parents can feel reassured that you will always have someone to go to for help. The Iona College ISPS team has only one priority – the international student!
International Student Orientation: All new international students, both freshmen and transfers, attend a customized orientation before classes begin in August. At this program, we focus on the regulations of your F1 Visa, the I-20 application, the educational culture at Iona and meet members of the international student club, Iona International. Representatives from various offices and services on campus (i.e. Career Development, Health Services and the Counseling Center) talk with new students about opportunities for individual help throughout the school year.
