The purpose of the Bullen Lecture Series in Science and Technology is to instill a measure of scientific awareness in Iona’s science, liberal arts, business students, and in the general public so that they may confront scientific issues as informed citizens.
Iona Scholars Day is a program that allows students to present their research, collaborative or independent, in a friendly and supportive atmosphere.
Invitations are extended each year to one or more outstanding scholars to serve as the Jack Rudin & John G. Driscoll Distinguished Visiting Professor at Iona College.
The series offers practical examples of ethical leadership for young people and those in the working world.
The Spring 2017 Science Symposium for high school sophomores and juniors, teachers and parents will be Saturday, April 22.
