Jaime Iglehart Frasson is a documentary filmmaker and educator whose work spans media production, film history, and critical media theory. She is currently in post-production on a feature-length documentary examining contemporary crises and institutional transformations in American higher education. Prof. Iglehart Frasson holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film Studies from Bard College and a Master of Fine Arts in Directing and Producing from Columbia University. At Iona, her courses incorporate hands-on media, production, video editing and 20th and 21st century film and media history and theory. Her research interests include: media and society, film and television history, human attention and persuasion. Prof. Iglehart Frasson organizes the annual Iona University Student Film Festival – a campus showcase that recognizes and celebrates exceptional student filmmaking across campus.
