Each spring, Iona University celebrates the close of the academic year with Spring Weekend, a multi-day campus tradition filled with student-led events, performances, activities, and moments that bring the Gael community together. This year’s celebration will take place April 24–26.
Spring Weekend Events
Friday, April 24
4–6 p.m.
Black Student Union: Pop the Balloon
Join BSU for Pop the Balloon Pt. 3, an interactive and high-energy event where participants test connections in a fun, fast-paced format. With music, live reactions, and plenty of unexpected moments, this crowd-favorite experience is guaranteed to keep you entertained whether you’re participating or watching.

CGG Lip Sync Battle
Bring the energy and get ready for a night of unforgettable performances at the CGG Lip Sync Battle! Organizations will take the stage to compete in a high-energy showdown, performing choreographed routines to some of the biggest hits across genres and decades.

SATURDAY, April 25

GAB: A Bite in the City
A food truck festival with music, interactive activities, and a city-inspired atmosphere.

Spring Fashion Show

Strides for Speech
