Animal Welfare Coalition

The Animal Welfare Coalition (AWC) brings together students who are passionate about addressing animal welfare issues and promoting a more humane environment worldwide!

Through volunteering, hosting discussions, and disseminating literature, the club also works with the local community and existing animal advocacy groups to inspire meaningful change, socially and legally.

The club hosts a number of educational programs on campus throughout the year. Past events have included lectures and guest speakers on factory farming, banning of fur sales, animal cruelty investigation and more.

AWC also participates in several philanthropic activities including a Humane Society donation drive, volunteer hours at a local nature center and others.
