Edmund Rice Society

Our Edmund Rice Society (ERS) is the organization that oversees our Orientation Leader program. Orientation leaders are students dedicated to mentoring and supporting incoming students during their transition from high school to college.

As the first contact with incoming students, ERS and its leaders ensure that Iona students feel welcome and well-informed as they join our campus community. ERS leaders are upperclassmen students who serve as hosts, guides and mentors and stay in contact with the new students throughout their entire first year!

ERS welcomes all students, not just Orientation Leaders, to help make the transition process for incoming freshmen a great experience!
