Gamma Lambda Rho
Gamma Lambda Rho Sorority is a local sorority composed of diverse women who form a strong sisterhood. Founded on Iona's campus in 1973, Gamma Lambda Rho is the oldest sorority on campus, full of rich tradition and history.
Gamma Lambda Rho is dedicated to being philanthropic leaders. Since they are a local organization, they are able to pick philanthropies that are important to the sisters and the group as a whole. These sisters participated or led events benefiting The Wounded Warrior Project, The American Cancer Society, Hope Community Services, Oral Cancer Foundation, Global Down Syndrome Foundation, and Mental Health America.
The sisters of Gamma Lambda Rho pride themselves on providing a home away from home for our members and reinforce the idea of friends forever and sisters for life!
Students interested in joining Greek Life participate in open recruitment in either the fall or spring semesters.
