Gamma Lambda Rho

Gamma Lambda Rho Sorority is a local sorority composed of diverse women who form a strong sisterhood. Founded on Iona's campus in 1972, Gamma Lambda Rho is the oldest sorority on campus, full of rich tradition and history.

The sorority maintains a robust involvement in campus and community events. As philanthropic leaders, the group has participated or led events benefiting Autism Speaks, Gigi's Playhouse, Boys and Girls Club and more.

The sisters of Gamma Lambda Rho pride themselves on providing a home away from home for its members and reinforce the idea of friends forever and sisters for life!

Students interested in joining Greek Life participate in open recruitment in either fall or spring semesters.
