Lambda Theta Alpha, Inc.

Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, Inc., is the first and largest national Latina-based sorority that is based on the principles of unity, love and respect. The Xi chapter was brought to Iona's campus in 2018, after originally being founded at Manhattan College in 1992.

The sisters of Lambda Theta Alpha, Inc., pride themselves on serving the community and helping those in need with their philanthropy: Hope Community Services. Lambda Theta Alpha, Inc., Xi Chapter, has won several awards locally and on campus, including for highest GPA and multicultural excellence.

The sorority is open to all women of diverse backgrounds and in all stages of life. Lambda Theta Alpha Inc., reflects the motto: "Latin By Tradition, Not By Definition."
