Phi Sigma Sigma

Phi Sigma Sigma is a national sorority which upholds its six virtues of friendship, faith, love, sincerity, integrity, and strength. Founded at Iona in 1985, our sisters dedicate themselves to education, service, leadership, and creating strong bonds with each other and the community.

Being a part of a national sorority means that our sisters get to build connections with members from all over the country, creating a large network of both students and alumni!

Our national philanthropy is the Phi Sigma Sigma Foundation, which supports school and college readiness by funding leadership programs, providing scholarships and educational grants, and helping students succeed both in and out of the classroom. Locally, our chapter supports My Sister’s Place, an organization dedicated to ending domestic violence and human trafficking while promoting relationships built on respect, equality, and safety. We also partner with Columbus Elementary School, where we work to inspire and prepare young students to thrive academically.

Students interested in joining sorority life participate in open recruitment in either fall or spring semesters.
