Student Leader Alliance for Multiculturalism (SLAM)

Student Leader Alliance for Multiculturalism (SLAM) is a leadership group on campus, which focuses on developing and growing the community of multicultural student organizations.

As part of Iona's inclusive and diverse community, SLAM works to advocate, educate, break social barriers and continue to promote inclusion on the Iona University campus. The group provides a platform for students to speak about current multicultural and diversity affairs that affect the University's community. These efforts have been shown through their events such as My Culture Is Not A Costume, Latin American Fair, and Her Path to Power: Celebrating Women, and so much more.
