Iona Speech and Hearing Club

Iona's Speech and Hearing Club aims to inspire, empower and support students in the field of communication sciences and disorders. The club helps students prepare for their future profession through a variety of educational and philanthropic events. Those events have included a seminar on the basics of swallowing hosted by a practicing Speech Language Pathologist and a local Strides for Speech fundraising walk.

The club is one of more than 300 chapters of the National Student Speech Language Hearing Association (NSSLHA). NSSLHA is the only national student organization for pre-professionals studying communication sciences and disorders recognized by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).

The Speech and Hearing Club welcomes any student who has a professional interest in the study of Speech Pathology!
