Multicultural Recognition Ceremony

The Multicultural Student Recognition Ceremony is an annual event to celebrate the academic achievements of students from our diverse Iona student community. This University-wide initiative recognizes the unique experiences of students from diverse backgrounds.
Additionally, this event is designed to honor and highlight the multitude of identities, cultures, religions, nationalities, sexual orientations, socioeconomic backgrounds, and abilities of our graduating seniors that make the Iona community a masterpiece.
All graduating students are invited to participate in this time of celebration, but most commonly celebrate multicultural heritages attending the University. We celebrate cultural diversity and bestow stoles in celebration of our students’ heritage, culture, persistence and academic achievement.
