Milestone 2:

1000-word Executive Summary (3/14 @11:59 p.m.)

  • Your executive summary is about grabbing the attention of the judge/mentor in a matter of only 30 seconds. Only put in the Executive Summary what can achieve this goal, which is typically one page (approximately 1000 words).
    • Most Compelling Statement (50 words)
    • Problem Statement (100 words)
    • Solution Statement (100 words)
    • Market Opportunity (200 words)
    • Competitive Advantage (150 words)
    • Business Model (200 words)
    • Your Promise (100 words)
    • Your Ask / Action (100 words)
  • Most Executive Summaries also have pictures and a brief on each teammate, or at least the Founders of
    the business.
