Clinic Rooms and Spaces

The Iona College Speech, Language and Hearing Clinic offers a variety of spaces tailored to address the needs of the clients we serve.

Group Therapy Spaces

The group therapy room has an oval table in the middle and 6 chairs. There is a two way mirror so that family members can observe. For adult clients, our Group Therapy spaces provide the perfect setting for concentration and interaction.

Individual Treatment Spaces

The outside of the group therapy rooms have headphones so that family members can listen in while watching through the two way mirror. Individual treatment spaces are designed so that therapists and family members can observe sessions without intruding.

Sensory Room

The sensory room has a small trampoline as well as large inflatable balls for children to interact with. We have a Sensory Room with a variety of equipment dedicated to providing younger clients with personalized sensory input.

Treatment Space

The treatment space for children has a small table with four small chairs, some red bean bags, and a variety of toys. The Treatment Space for children is equipped with toys for stimulation and learning and is also the ideal environment for one-on-one and group therapy sessions.
