American Sign Language Club

The American Sign Language Club brings awareness about the deaf culture while teaching American Sign Language to the campus community. The club aims to provide students with ASL skills and knowledge of the deaf and hard-of-hearing communities in order to apply ASL to their own lives.

The ASL club hosts a number of awareness-raising opportunities on campus, including silent parties and picnics where members use ASL to communicate at the event. Members have also signed the National Anthem at campus sporting events. The ASL club participates in the local annual Walk4Hearing to raise awareness and funds.
