Phi Sigma Sigma Sorority
Mission and Purpose
Phi Sigma Sigma was founded by 10 extraordinary women on November 26, 1913, at Hunter College in New York City. The Delta Nu Chapter was founded locally on April 13, 1985. Now, we are the largest sorority on Iona’s campus, and we couldn’t be any prouder of our growth! Our ideals are sisterhood, service, scholarship and diversity. The sisters follow these ideals both in the Iona community and nationwide. It is because of our dedication to the sorority that Phi Sigma Sigma is able to grow locally, as well as nationally. Being the only national sorority on Iona’s campus gives us the benefit of having a larger community and every sister being apart of something bigger than them and bigger than Iona College.
Tuesday evenings at 10 p.m. in the McGrath Room with biweekly Formal Ritual meetings. Meetings are closed for the sisters of Phi Sigma Sigma.
