Professional Licensure and Certification Disclosures

Iona University offers multiple degree programs that require state certification or licensure for practice. All of our programs meet credentialing requirements for New York State. In addition, our programs have been designed to be consistent with recognized professional and national standards, but requirements for licensure/certification often vary from state to state and over time. If you plan to seek certification/licensure from a state other than New York, please inform your graduate admissions counselor and the graduate program coordinator. We will expedite research to determine if our program meets certification/licensure requirements.
