Nathan Lowry is a psychology major and neuroscience minor in the Honors Program at Iona University. Upon finishing his bachelor’s degree, he plans to attend graduate school to pursue a career in clinical psychology. Nathan’s main research interests include depression, suicide, non-suicidal self-injury, and social media use among young adults and adolescents. He has been a member of the Otherways Lab since his freshman year at Iona, and has had the opportunity to work on multiple projects and present his work at conferences. Outside of psychology, Nathan enjoys watching movies, listening to music, backpacking, and photography.

Rebecca Gebert is a psychology major in the Honors Program at Iona University. Upon finishing her bachelor's degree, she plans to attend graduate school to pursue the study of clinical psychology. She has been a member of the Otherways Lab since her sophomore year of college, and her main research interests are emotion regulation, mood, anxiety, and personality disorders, suicide and non-suicidal self-injury, and how social media use relates to psychology. Rebecca is also a volunteer Crisis Counselor with the Crisis Text Line. Outside of psychology, she enjoys reading, doing yoga, and helping animals.
