Alumni Board of Directors

The Alumni Association’s Board of Directors (or, the Alumni Board, for short) is a volunteer body of approximately 30 elected members who serve as ambassadors and advisors on behalf of all alumni. The Board provides strategic insight to the University, strengthens alumni connections, and supports initiatives that enhance the alumni experience across the University community.

Goals

By supporting the University through their time, treasure, and talent, Board Members play a vital role in enhancing the alumni experience and advancing Iona’s mission by:

• Strengthening the alumni network and enhancing community engagement.
• Providing ongoing support for the University through financial contributions and volunteer efforts.
• Facilitating professional and personal development opportunities for alumni.
• Promoting the University’s core values and mission.
• Coordinating initiatives that benefit alumni and the University community, including idea generation and program assessment.
• Increase alumni participation to 15% & achieve Annual Fund Targets.
• Promote and grow the Gaels Go Further Mentoring Program.
• Re-focus alumni engagement through affinities & early interventions.
