Spirit & Performing Arts Audition Process
All students who are interested in participating in any of the Spirit & Performing Arts programs at Iona University are required to complete an audition or interview. Please note that this is for grant consideration purposes only and will not affect your standing in the Spirit & Performing Arts program of your choice.
Apply to Iona
The first step is to apply to Iona. Our Common Application opens on August 1 each year, and both freshmen and transfer students are encouraged to apply using the Common Application. Test scores are not required for acceptance, and the $50 application fee can be waived. Ask your admissions counselor for more details.
Spirit & Performing Arts Award
Students involved in Spirit & Performing Arts may be eligible for a Spirit & Performing Arts Award. Consideration is based on your interview and your level of interest and involvement, offering support for those eager to be part of Iona’s vibrant arts community.
Schedule Your Interview
After you've submitted your application, it's time to schedule your interview. This helps us determine your best fit, discuss next steps, and assess grant eligibility. It does not impact admission or your standing in the program of your choice.
Select a date and time in the online calendar to schedule a virtual interview. After you register, you’ll receive follow-up instructions at the email address listed on your application.
