Graduate Student Housing at Iona

The Office of Residential Life offers housing to full time graduate students, providing them with a safe, convenient and cost-effective living and learning environment.
Housing is available to full time graduate students who complete and sign all required forms and qualify for housing based on admission qualifications and as space permits.  Only full-time students enrolled at Iona College may occupy a room in housing provided by Iona College. Other students may be eligible if space is available and at the discretion of the Director of Residential Life or their designee.  
New for the 2018-2019 and 2019-2020 academic year, designated space for graduate student housing is located in the residential areas below:
  • Apartments at Eastchester, Building 8 – Apartments that accommodate two, three, four, or five graduate students 
  • Houses – Located on President Street, Halcyon Terrace, and Hubert Place. Each house accommodates 3 or 6 graduate students
  • Furniture for seating in the living/common room
  • Kitchen table and kitchen chairs
  • An extra-long twin bed and mattress, a desk, desk chair, dresser and/or wardrobe/closet space.
  • Wireless Internet, telephone, and cable TV access.
  • Refrigerator in kitchen
  • Note – not all of the Graduate Houses are equipped with full kitchens. The Apartments at Eastchester have a full kitchen in each apartment.

To live on campus:

  1. Contact the Office of Residential Life to discuss and view the available housing options. Our office works with each student to find the best fit for their housing needs from the options available.

  2. Pay the Housing Deposit – Contact Student Financial Services
  3. Submit the Residence Hall Agreement
  4. Complete and submit required health documents – more information available on the Health Services webpage.
