Professor Alabbad teaches courses in principles of financial accounting and financial statement analysis at the undergraduate level. Her research interests include accounting and corporate finance with specific interest in corporate governance, regulation, and financial reporting of financial institutions. She is also interested in disclosure and corporate governance issues, with a specific focus on financial institutions.

Professor Bottiglieri teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in principles of accounting and federal income tax. His research interests include income and estate taxation and has published in law and taxation. Bottiglieri has incorporated computer-based tax research and return preparation in the courses that he teaches. He has experience in public accounting, law and taxation and is the coordinator of Iona's Tax Payer Assistance (TPA) Program.

Professor Gioiosa teaches undergraduate accounting courses, including advanced financial accounting, managerial accounting and financial statement analysis. Her research interests include the increase in higher education costs and the factors associated with it. Prior to joining Iona College, Professor Gioiosa worked in public accounting, the healthcare industry, and as an adjunct instructor teaching various business classes. She is a certified public accountant in the state of New York.

Dr. Griffith teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in financial accounting, managerial accounting, income tax accounting, international accounting, auditing, and fraud examination. He is the current advisor for the undergraduate business students in the Honors Program. He has experience in expense management, internal audit, fraud investigation, and as a consultant in taxation and financial management. He was also a trustee and treasurer of a hospital and medical center authority. His research interests include taxation, forensic accounting, fraud examination, financial accounting, and higher education.

Dr. Haber teaches undergraduate and graduate classes in research, special topics and intermediate accounting. He publishes in the areas of investments, anti-money laundering and terrorist financing, earnings quality, ethics, bankruptcy prediction and other areas of financial and managerial accounting. Haber is a CPA licensed in New York and is a frequent speaker at academic, professional, investment and accounting conferences.

Dr. Mahmud Hossain teaches courses in financial accounting, managerial accounting, auditing and forensic accounting. His research interests include valuation, audit, privatization, corporate social responsibility and corporate tax avoidance. Dr. Hossain's work has appeared in many prestigious journals including Journal of Accounting Auditing and Finance, Journal of Business Finance and Accounting, Journal of Accounting and Public Policy, and Journal of Business Research.

Professor Miao teaches undergraduate courses in principals of financial accounting. Prior to joining Iona College, Professor Miao taught at Seattle University and Baruch College. In addition to principals of financial accounting, her teaching experience also includes courses in advanced financial accounting and financial statement analysis and security valuation. Professor Miao has worked at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management as the VP of Finance and Strategy for Corporate Equity Solutions.
