Clinical Communication Certificate
Designed specifically for physicians, nurses, social workers, and anyone with a career that intersects with healthcare, the courses in this 12-credit post-professional certificate program have been carefully curated to increase patient centeredness, foster humanism in medicine, and promote effective communication consistent with the U.S. healthcare system.
Admission for this certificate is based on either of the following criteria:
Admission into the Communication Sciences Disorder program or related graduate program at Iona College and 3.0 Minimum GPA.
MA, MS, MD, Ph.D., NP, MBA, PSYD, AUD in a healthcare-related field such as Audiology, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Social Work or Speech Language Pathology.
