Mass Comm, Criminal Justice Ranked Among Top Programs by College Factual

NEW ROCHELLE, NY - CollegeFactual.com recently ranked two of Iona College's programs among its best in the United States. Iona's Criminal Justice and Mass Communication offerings were cataloged on the site's top ranked and highest paid graduates lists. College Factual is a leading source of college data and analytics.

Criminal Justice

Iona College’s Criminal Justice program ranked in the top 15 percent of all such programs in the United States.

The ranking placed Iona program as 51st of 415 schools nationwide, and eighth of 28 colleges in New York State.

College Factual also concluded Iona College students who graduate with a criminal science degree will earn an average salary nearly $4,000 more than the national average at the beginning of their careers and more than $11,000 above the national average mid-career.

Mass Communication

Iona College’s Mass Communication program also ranked among the top 15 percent in the nation. Iona Mass Comm was listed 70th of 524 programs nationally, and seventh out of 40 schools in New York State. This year’s ratings show remarkable improvement for the College, as the mass communication program jumped 41 slots on the national ranking, and five slots on the state list.

Iona College students who graduate with a mass communications degree will earn an average salary more than $5,500 over the national average at the beginning of their careers and $10,000 above the national average mid-career.
