The Otherways Lab
The Otherways Lab is a multidisciplinary group of students and faculty dedicated to helping children and young adults find other ways (healthy ways) of coping with life’s challenges. The lab is working on several projects focused on improving the mental well-being of adolescents and young adults. Specific areas of interest include understanding risk factors for engagement in self-injury and suicidal behaviors as well as how use of technology and social media affects the lives of young people, in both positive and negative ways. If you are interested in learning more about the Otherways Lab, please explore this website and/or contact us!
