Dr. Bao teaches courses in information systems, big data analytics and business intelligence. Her research interests include crowdfunding, multimodal data analytics, e-commerce, social media and artificial intelligence. In particular, she concentrates on predictive analytics with machine learning and deep learning techniques to discover new perspectives on multimodal data and solving problems in business, followed by theory-driven and design-science approaches.
Dr. Bao is a member of the Association for Information Systems. She has published articles in Electronic Commerce Research and Applications journal. Her work has been presented at the Americas Conference on Information Systems.
