Iona College is inviting alumnae to share stories, memories and experiences from their time at Iona. What led you to Iona? What memory or experience stands out the most? Did you have a favorite professor or staff member? We'd like to know!

Share A Story

In the fall of 1969, Iona College began welcoming female students into the full-time student body. That historic moment triggered a sweeping change at the traditionally male institution. To commemorate 50 years of women at Iona College, the College will embark on a celebration beginning in September 2019 and culminating in May 2020.

This campus-wide celebration will include lectures, exhibitions and special events hosted by the LaPenta School of Business, the School of Arts & Science and various campus organizations. Programs will highlight women and their contributions to the College and the larger society.

A calendar with event listings is currently being developed. We hope that alumnae will use some of these campus events to organize mini-reunions with friends throughout the year.
