Information Systems and Business Analytics: Power to move the world of business

Critical to the success of any organization today is its ability to manage and mine data in order to improve operational performance and decision-making. Iona Information Systems and Business Analytics graduates are in great demand as businesses seek to manage their operations in the face of rapid technological change. Equipped with the skills to analyze, design and evaluate an organization’s information system, our graduates are helping companies remain competitive as they move the world of business forward.

We offer a BBA in Information Systems as well as an MBA with an Information Systems concentration. Across the board, graduates with IS degrees are among the top-ten highest earners right out of college, according to the 2013 National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) Salary Survey (“The College Degrees with the Highest Starting Salaries, Forbes, January 25, 2013).  Iona graduates who participated in the internship program have the added advantage of extensive real-world experience, making them ready for the work environment on day one.
Among our many distinguished alumni is Eugene McGrath, former CEO of Con Edison, who earned an MBA with an Information Systems concentration from Iona.
